a dream

"History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people." ~Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * a relatively simple sentiment but, really, have you ever heard anything soprofound? in the past few years i have become more and more passionate about making a difference in things, even if it through tiny acts like small monetary contributions, signing petitions, etc. yes, our individual voices may be small but that is only a place to start. i urge you to get involved in whatever it is that moves you...i think you'll find that it brings a sense of peace and accomplishment...and there is no better gift to give yourself...or others. i did a quick google search and found a great resource for activism and advocacy groups. but there are thousands upon thousands of such groups on every issue/cause under the sun.
