"quote"

"I do not wish to treat friendships daintily, but with the roughest courage. When they are real, they are not glass threads or frost-work, but the solidest thing we know." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson (i was inspired to post this after reading #21 of barb's blog post today)

Isn't it the honest truth? Real friendship can take the hardest bangs and deepest falls because it's the thing that protects us from injury during those harsh moments. I have several friends who have been there with me through it all and a lot of new friends who nod and smile because they'll be there for the new love and new messes. I am much blessed.
