can i get a ...

craft room? really. clearly i don't have one. and, as a result, <--- this is what becomes of my 2nd bedroom/guest room/office when i am crafting away like a little maniac. but then it is a mess and i haaaaate that. aargh! plus, i think i may be gettin' some brain damage from these paint fumes. yes, i realize i should not be spray-painting inside if i don't have to and blah blah blah but it is freezing outside and i just can't be bothered. so i went searching and found this amazing craft room of my dreams. someday, right? a girl can dream. heh heh. please comment with links to your fab craft room finds (yours or others')... ...and if you have tips on what i can do to create one in a limited space...let me know.

Good luck, you'll get there. Start hoarding cabinets and things until you do. I had been saving compartment cabinets, boxes, tables, etc. in anticipation of a craft/design room for years while waiting to get it our of our bedroom and into a small section of our garage. Your day will come.

Here's mine:

I finally updated my guest room into a full time art room/office with just a nod to guests & I love it!

Your room looks great! It is so nice and bright! I don't think that it matters how much space one has...just that one wants to work there. Working on mine as soon as I weed through the paperwork I have to do!

I have limited space, as well and I use china cabinets/hutches. You can line them up on one long wall. Lots of storage space.

I use my spare bedroom as my crafting room and have a BYO-Bed, so it can go up or down as needed. I also store as much as possible in clear containers.

I really like the photo of the craft room that you strive for. This is the one I strive for: http://www.flickr.com/photos/snapdragonbeads/2800217790/

Good luck!

Best advice: Go to Ikea for inspiration. They are masters at small room organization/decorating.

ahhh...how I Love an honest crafter! I think we all find ourselves up to our eyes in craft when the creativity starts flowing. I can't give much advise, but I'll check back for great ideas.
Happy Day
